If you missed it!
Hannah Coad, Student Government President and Parker Heisey, Student Government Vice President addressed the grammar students during chapel this morning.
Mr. Heisey educated the students on the purpose and structure of student government as it relates to our country's government: President, Vice President, Secretary and Class Ambassadors. One fourth grade student perfectly articulated the role of an U.S. Ambassador as one who represents and carries out our government's business in another country!
Ms. Coad excitingly informed the students about Spirit Week and proper attire with modesty being a key ingredient.
Mr. Sallade led us in worship opening with "Jesus Loves Me." I encourage you to sing this simple yet profound song with your child(ren) tonight before dinner.
Then I spoke to the students from 1 John 1:5-10. This is a simple message with a simple truth written in a simple Koine Greek language where a 5 year old could read. "God is light. In Him there is no darkness." "If we say we do not sin, we make God out to be a liar." "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins."
My prayer is the Holy Spirit will water the planted seed to make grow into spiritual fruit, even salvation.
A simple message. A simple truth.
