CCA Senior Spotlight: Chad H. ~ Chad moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho the summer of his 7th grade year. During that summer he attended one of the CCA I-Bots outreach camps and has been on our robotics team ever since! Chad had been involved with both FTC and FLL and had held many different jobs. He was on the design team, a mechanical engineer, a programmer, a robot driver, team captain, and the driver coach. He was nominated and was a semi-finalist of the Idaho Dean’s List Award with FIRST.

Chad has been involved in many other activities, as well. He has over 200 hours of volunteer time at Kootenai Medical Center. Chad has also volunteered at Higher Ground Animal Sanctuary, the CDA Ironman, and robotics outreach camps for his community for the past 4 years. While attending CCA, he had participated in Varsity Soccer, Drama, TEAMS (Math competition), and Imagine Tomorrow (Science Competition). Chad has also been incredibly involved with CCA’s Student Government, where he has been a class ambassador, Vice President and this school year, was the Student Body President!

He placed high goals for himself going into his senior year, even with all his extra-curricular activities, and taking Advanced Calculus, his GPA is 3.7. After graduation, Chad plans to attend the University of Idaho focusing on mechanical engineering.
