Parent Commitment
The Partnership in a Classical Education
As Christian parents we understand the privilege and responsibility of raising our children not only to function as worthy citizens but to grow in the nurture and understanding of the Lord.
One of the greatest blessings of enrolling your children into Classical Christian Academy is the opportunity to serve in the same environment that your children obtain their education in. The commitment of Classical Christian Academy is to engage in a partnership with parents in providing an exceptional education, firmly rooted in biblical truth. A partnership requires the consistent participation of both parent and school.
Parent Involvement
Wise parents understand that it is not enough to simply enroll children in a Christian school or to immerse them in Christian culture. Parents must remain diligent to ensure that the development of each of their children’s character is not left up to chance. They should be proactive in all aspects of each of their children’s development, including their academic, social, and spiritual development.
One of the greatest influences in children’s lives is the educational environment in which children are placed. Parents of Classical Christian Academy students have entrusted CCA in this aspect of their children’s lives. However, a parent’s responsibility does not end when they enroll their child/children in an academic program. In fact, parents must remain diligent in all matters concerning their children.
CCA eagerly welcomes parental involvement in nearly every aspect of the school. CCA encourages parents to participate in many of the activities in which the students are engaged.
Statement of Community
Classical Christian Academy (CCA) was formed and is sustained by a community of parents who, along with alumni, extended family, and faculty, recognize that parental awareness, participation, and support contribute a quality of environment essential to the mission and success of our school.
We, the parents of CCA, have committed ourselves not just to the well-being and progress of our own sons and daughters, but also to those of others— current and future— forming thereby a community with the vision for training young men and women who will become transforming influences not only in our community, but in the world.
By God’s grace and through this example of community, we, the parents of CCA, desire to:
Offer our children a love of learning deeply rooted in a Biblical worldview,
Nurture a Christian environment of acceptance focused on self-discipline, true character development, and ethical and moral discernment,
Provide an academic schooling of exceptional quality, with an opportunity for careers, or college and university admission.
Therefore, with these goals in mind, we, the members of the CCA community, commit to one another to give willingly of our available personal resources, whether they be time, energy, wisdom, or material assets, for the current and future well-being of the CCA community, its students and programs, as well as the fulfillment of the high calling of the CCA Mission Statement.
