Student Life

The Joys of a Classical Education

On campus student enjoys a rich academic, spiritual, and social life filled with a host of traditions, after-school sports, service opportunities, house system, and senior trip, students here at CCA are part of a Christian community.  We strive to grow together in virtue and Christian character, thereby living truth and exemplifying God's love to all with whom we come into contact.

School Traditions

From living history days to field trips, spirit week, and Senior travel study, Classical Christian Academy is full of rich traditions that develop minds, strengthen social bonds, and bring learning to life.

The classical approach pays particular attention to the connections between things, celebrates the integrated nature of reality, and treats each “subject” as an opportunity to acquire skills that spill over into others.

Activities and Sports

Chorale and Music

All of our students attend music classes. Our Christmas program, Resurrection concert, and Presentation night are the major performance events for our students.

Robotics

Our Robotics teams start in 1st grade and go all the way through high school. Teamwork, computer programming, and problem-solving are some of the skills learned as a member of one of our teams.

Fall Sports

Our fall sports include jr. and varsity volleyball (girls), jr. and varsity Soccer (boys), and cross county (co-ed).

Winter Sports

Our winter sports include jr. and varsity basketball.

Centurion Games

After our annual standardized testing is complete, we celebrate good weather and great accomplishments with our Fun Run and Centurion Games! Students ask friends, family members, and neighbors to sponsor them per lap that they run.  All funds raised go into the travel study account for that student’s class. Those funds accumulate year after year, and help make it possible for the students to participate in the senior travel study program.

After the Fun Run and lunch the Centurion Games commence. Teams include students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade, and students of all ages work together to compete in a variety of field games.
